The Challenge

The lab operated on paper records and basic spreadsheets. Result delivery was manual (patients had to physically pick up results), corporate clients had no visibility into employee screening status, and the lab had no systematic way to manage inventory or optimize sample collection routes across the city.

Our Solution

We designed and built a Next.js application with distinct portals for each user type. The system includes exam result management with configurable parameters and reference ranges, QR-code-based result delivery for patients, a corporate portal for bulk order management, route optimization for sample collection/delivery drivers, inventory tracking, and customizable print templates for official lab reports. Deployed on Fly.io with SQLite for fast, cost-effective operation.
